Announcing: Awards Program for Bus Drivers and Transortation Assistants Serving Students with Special NeedsDo you know of a special education bus driver or transportation assistant who deserves recognition for a job well done? The Minnesota Special Education Transportation Committee, in cooperation with the Minnesota Association of Pupil Transportation and the Minnesota Department of Education, is sponsoring the seventh annual awards program to identify and recognize the best school bus drivers and transportation assistants serving students with special needs.
Nominations can be submitted by staff members and/or parents of students who receive special transportation. Click here to access a nomination form for the awards program and directions on how to complete it. Completed nomination forms must be sent to Kristin Johnson, Robbinsdale Area Schools #281, Transportation Department, 4124 Winnetka Ave. N., New Hope, MN 55427.
The completed forms must be received by Friday, March 12, 2010.
